What is SRT file and how to use SRT file in VLC player??

While watching a video or a movie on VLC player,sometimes we face a problem in understanding as to what is being said.
the main reason behind the problem is communication barrier. so what is the solution of this problem??
solution- we require a subtitle.
these subtitles usually comes in SRT files.
Most of the time at least one SRT file is given along with the video file.
The full form of SRT file SubRip Text.
if you have a SRT file along with a proper video file and don't know how to use it in the video,then follow the following steps.
1.Open VLC Player .

2.Click on the media in menu bar.

3.Click the option open file.

4.Search a video file having a SRT file.

5.Select the video file and click open.

NOW almost 99% chance that the subtitle will appear in the below site of our video.if the subtitle will not come then the follow the following steps.

6.Click subtitle in the menu bar.(sometimes subtitle option is present in the video bar)

7.Click "add subtitle file" option.

8.now a window fill open up and browse and locate the SCR file and select it.

A picture of video file(.mp4) and it's corresponding subtitle file(.srt file).

alternative option-while playing the video ,drag the SRT file in the VLC player window.
